MADISON LYLEROEHR: Bio

MADISON LYLEROEHR

Critics have described Madison's as “the voice of an angel” (WBIR-TV), one that blends “magnificently” with the background harp in her captivating performance of Christmas classics entitled HEAVENLY PEACE.

This amazing young woman is an East Tennesseean who is currently an honors scholar at Brandeis University. Already well known for serving her community, she has won numerous scholarships and awards for her academic and service achievements alike.

Her first album, DREAMS LAST (2002), is a collection of soft pop/rock tunes that raised thousands of dollars to aid the homeless.

But HEAVENLY PEACE has surpassed all expectations! Here, Madison’s pure, uncluttered soprano, accompanied by the enchanting strains of Anne Jackson’s Celtic harp, weaves a soothing spell of Christmas magic with selections ranging from timeless English and French carols to haunting folk tunes and hearty spirituals.

Better still, all the artist's proceeds are donated to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, in memory of Madison’s late grandmother and in honor of Madison’s mother, a university professor who has also been diagnosed with the disease.

Madison also performs for a wide variety of charity events, and her uniquely soulful rendition of the National Anthem has won acclaim all over the Southeast.
